I was successful in turning the 2011 loss into a profit in 2012, and as a result was promoted to the position of Country Manager in 2013

• Appointed by American shipping container owners, Transamerica Leasing International, to develop and establish an agency in Southern Africa, focusing on refrigerated containers in the international shipping arena – this involved operational management, new business development, servicing existing clients and supplier management• In addition to the above agency function, I developed my own transport brokerage and logistic services business, providing transport and logistics functions for key freight forwarding companies, Kuehne & Nagel and Grindrod PCA bases in Cape Town.
