Stream-Flo Industries is privately-owned and operated company that manufactures wellheads, gate valves, check valves, and surface safety valves for the worldwide oil and gas industry. I am currently responsible for implementing and sustaining the HSE management system across the US business organization. Stream Flo has manufacturing facilities based in Longview & Kilgore, TX. In addition, the organization comprises of several branch service locations across the US that specialize in field service and after-market repair. I am also responsible for the Master Flo USA Valve business located in Houston, TX. Master Flo Valve Inc. provides surface and subsea flow management solutions for the global oil and gas industry. Master Flo manufactures and services choke valves, control valves, actuation, and automation and communication solutions to lower cost and optimize production through reliable flow for the life of customer fields. I am accountable to manage the heath, safety, and environmental data for trending and analytics to drive continuous HSE improvement for the Onshore/Offshore, Subsea, Engineering & Manufacturing, and Surface Technologies business units for North America. I work closely with HSE team members in the Region to provide them with the current status of the business in terms of HSE and insight to provide preventative measures before unplanned incidents arise. I also have experience leading a team of HSE professionals for North & South America Surface Technologies Business that included the Surface Wellhead, FRAC, and Fluid Control product lines in a service oriented environment. I joined TechnipFMC (formerly FMC Technologies) in a high growth environment for the company, which provided opportunities in terms of challenges to provide HSE trained service technicians to the field for service in the quickest time as possible. This time period was then followed up by the market downturn which provided further opportunities to sustain current HSE performance in this complex environment involving multiple product line integrations and major business mergers. Successes include streamlining the HSE data collection processes in terms of time and resources. Due to the integration of both companies, I have had to also create new processes in order align data to create consistent outputs across the Region. In terms of field experience, I was able to create and implement an HSE management system in the field that drove positive HSE improvement (26% decrease in the recordable rate over three years) for the larger field bases, but flexible enough to ensure smaller sized bases could comply and achieve success.

I am responsible for the HSE manufacturing support for all Baker Hughes product lines (Drilling Fluids, Atlas, INTEQ, Baker Oil Tools, and Hughes Christensen Bits). The manufacturing facility that I manage has 3,200 employees. I assist my internal customers with risk assessments, incident investigations, internal audits, training, emergency response and planning, and many other elements of the Baker Hughes HSE Management System. I also track and monitor environmental aspects of the business to lower the environmental footprint of our operations and generate reports to regulatory agencies.

INTEQ is a product line within Baker Hughes that provides drilling and evaluation tools. I provided HSE support for INTEQ at the Houston and Oklahoma City manufacturing facilities. A few examples of the types of support that I provided is guidance for my internal customers on the HSE management system, audits, incident investigations, industrial hygiene activities, and training. I also advised my internal customers on the risk assessment process to lower risk profiles on many of the manufacturing processes within the facilities.

Chem-Aqua provides water treatment products such scale inhibitors and biocides to increase performance and cost savings to its customers that posses cooling towers, boilers, and closed loop water systems. I visited mid level organizations such as hotels, schools, and office complexes in order to pass on these performance and cost saving benefits to help and serve my customer’s business goals.

Baylor College of Medicine is a private educational facility that provides education and research for the medical field. The facility is classified as a large quantity generator for hazardous waste and contained over 400 research & development laboratories. I provided HSE support for medical students, administrators, doctors, and researchers. Some of the support functions provided included monitoring radiation levels, industrial hygiene activities, hazardous waste operations, and emergency response.

Alltech Associates provided chromatography consumable products as well as instrumentation to many various industries. Some of the industries that I made sales calls to were chemical & petrochemical plants, pharmaceutical, biotech, environmental, and R&D facilities of educational and government institutions.
