With a BSc hons. degree in Materials Science from Bath University in 1982 Alan worked as European Marketing Manager for General Signal before establishing his own high tech sales and marketing company in 1990 with the backing of Brooks Automation.Working in a variety of fields, the company was successful in several technology sectors from the semiconductor manufacturing equipment business through to data security, which led to an an early adoption of internet technology and techniques.In 2000 Alan established U4Global dedicated to supply chain solutions in the semiconductor manufacturing business across Europe as well as consulting on a variety of businesses and start-ups / business turnaround of high tech companies..Specialties: Wide experience of international business.
