My collaboration with this company was mainly in two projects. The first one creating an app for iPhone/iPad and for Apple TV, the main propose of the app is to stream sports events, and watch the news and matches of past sports games. The name of the app is SNY which is available only inside USA on the NYC area and surroundings. This one was made using SwiftUI.The other app on which I collaborate was for the client jetBlue, an airline company, on which we provide updates and maintenance for their iOS App to see all related to your flight, web check-in, schedules and more. Here we used Swift with UIKit framework.

Here I participated on an iOS Native App made entirely using SwiftUI and made for the healthcare industry, being CVS Pharmacy our client. Working with them using Safe5 with Scrum as our Agile framework and delivering value on each iteration. The app was built from scratch and following every single policy and requirement the client states. While on my collaboration with them, I create views, perform animations, work heavily with the HealthKit framework, apply a reactive programming using Combine in a MVVM architecture. After some months I was assigned as a lead of QA and my principal task was to write Unit Tests and UITests as well as assign work to my team and ensure that the app is behaving as expected. Also I interviewed the candidates for the project and approve the most suitable. After that I was assigned with a client named Peapod Digital Labs who was making four apps for the retail industry, those four apps were built from the same base code and my work here was to add new features, fix some bugs, provide maintenance and incorporate the new technology added to the platform. Here we also use Scrum and the app uses SwiftUI, Combine and a lot of containers and package dependencies.

Developed an iOS App that communicates securely through Bluetooth with some devices to read, write and obtain notifications from them. We also integrated and API communication, saved some data locally, and integrate a fluid user experience. That app was entirely developed by myself and for that I used Swift, UIKit and other native frameworks, MVP design pattern and some Cocoa Pod libraries.Also I participate in the creation of another App for a client named Eleven Health, in that app I designed all the architecture and establish all the base code for the project, so I decide to use MVVM as well as Combine and SwiftUI for all the App. I create the network layer to communicate to the API services, and also establish a set of reusable components like views and helping classes to maintain a standard code in all the app. I made use of Swift Package Dependencies instead of Cocoa Pods, but we used as few as possible. This app also communicate through BLE to medical devices that was already developed by the client. Also I interview and approve the candidates for the iOS team.

At this job I have designed mobile app solutions, understanding the business model of the client and their idea to create a high level concept of the solution using Sketch. I am the responsible to coordinate the team of developers and designers in order to review progress, create activities, time estimation, explain what to build and how, remove impediments, all this in databases, APIs, designs, UX, etc. As well I develop in iOS natively using Swift.We have concluded two projects, one in beta test for a client named JVP Logística which is an executive private transport service (like Uber). For this project we made an entire redesign of their product, I designed the mobile App and supervised the web design as well. After that I developed the iOS App while coordinating the development of the Backend and Frontend (Android and Web).Currently we are about to release a new product for a client named Hello Food, I designed that solution from scratch according to the client’s requirements and their model business, I exposed the solution using Sketch for the high end prototype and LucidChart for the diagrams and flows. After the client’s approval, I began the coordination of the development in iOS, Android, Web, Design and Backend. That app consist on delivering food in a specific model business.The tools I have made use of so far are LucidChart for diagrams and processes, Sketch for high end representations of the apps and websites, Jira for coordinate and track progress of the team, GitLab as our repository, Mattermost as our realtime communication tool, Meet for conferences, and the daily development tools like Xcode, Postman, Terminal, VisualCode, Android Studio, and so on.

We attempt to redefine the entire security on cloud services as well as on the mobile app, being me in charge of the mobile team, but due to the Pandemic event, the bank was forced to cancel the project and all planed work wasn’t carried on.

Development of one native App for an Startup, using Swift and some native frameworks, Cocoa Pods for some third party libraries, MVP pattern design, REST API consumption and data communication using JSON. We use as well some tools for develop like Git at Code Commit on AWS, Slack, Trello, Postman.The startup is named Yoin and is focused on the administration of condos and its logistic like landlords, tenants, visitors, administrators, supplies, services, maintenance, etc.

Two iOS Apps made for Mercedes Benz from beginning to delivery, coded natively using Swift. The development process involved Cocoa Touch and some native frameworks. For their API consumption we use some Pods (like Alamofire and Object Mapper) and for communications we used JSONs and consume two REST API (one for each app). The architecture of both apps was a MVC pattern. As a team, we implement Scrum as our agile framework to orchestrate the development process across all team members, including the client themselves having a weekly meeting in their office. I also help with some UX/UI designs using Sketch and providing the required assets (i.e icons) to the team. There were also everyday things like Jira for our BackLog, GitLab for code committing, tools like Postman to test web services.

I was in charge of the development of two iOS native app related to on-demand-transport-service (ie. Uber, Beat, DiDi, etc). One app made for the passenger and another one for the driver.I was the one responsible to design the tool we were about to build, making sure it not only fulfill the UI/UX design as wells as customer requirements, but designing it accordingly to legal and a financial structure, preventing future issues due to legal contracts and upgradability with future technology. Also I review and integrate third party software providers like VoIP, Payment processors, Cloud providers, etc. Design a secure NoSQL Database, algorithm flow, with high reliability and low cost. Have frequent meetings with specialist like lawyers, financiers, accouters, marketing and so. Keep in touch with service providers and maintain a good relation with them. Also I did the process to upload the apps to each store (App Store and Play Store) and review them to perform well on devices and with user experience. I have frequent meeting with the teams to explain the desired outcome, plan the work schedule, and explain how we will use certain technology to develop whatever module we were talking about. Also I define the profile for the people we needed to hire, and I interview each person to verify their knowledge on the field, and in some cases fire them if not performing well.I was the one who define the use cases to develop, activities for the team, set goals or “sprints” was part of my daily routine as well as review and test the progress done. The methodologies that I used was Scrum and Extreme Programming, whit tools like GitHub for versioning code, Trello for an activities dashboard, Slack for communication....

This was a project, I contributed designing the database using a NoSQL MongoDB like database which was running on a Google’s Firebase server, assisted with Event Triggers on Google Cloud Functions which I coded using NodeJS. Also I use CocoaPods to deliver a faster MVP and because of the need to integrate the app with some others services (like Google Maps API, VoIP, Payments, etc). The whole project was native on a MVC framework, all written using SWIFT and occasionally Objective-C (like in the case to bridge a third party library). I had use many built-in capabilities of the iOS device like camera, GPS, biometric authentication, push notifications, etc. Because I used to coach and teach my team mates on other platforms too, like JavaScript on Web and Java on Android, the manager ended by assigning me up the project.
