Through 30+ years in manufacturing I have developed many skills and received much training to ensure the success of my employers. My responsibilities over the years have ranged from Supervisor of Machining Centers, Production and Inventory Control, Product Planner, Purchasing / Outsource Coordinator, Product Development and Manufacturing Engineer. I have concentrated a very large part of my career at Product Development and Purchasing while being responsible for efficiency in manufacturing processes through Lean Manufacturing and Inventory Control. I have been responsible for cultivating suppliers of raw materials and finished components both in the United States and International sources as well while setting in place where practical VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory). I have been responsible for outsourcing Specialty Machining and other Specialty Services such as Hydro Forming, Metal Spinning, Gun Drilling, Laser Drilling, Water Jet Cutting, Flow Testing, Heat Treating, Brazing, Roll Forming, Flame Spray, Acid and Blue Etching, NDT and X-Ray. The goal is always to achieve best price and delivery for materials, components and services with a very strong emphasis being placed on forming long term relationships with all suppliers by being fair and working with suppliers to achieve our needs.
