Consult and serve as a subject matter expert to study the ongoing deployment and operational issues related to the installation of the new Electronic Health Record for the Defense Healthcare Management System (DHMS) and Department of Defense (DoD). Day to day management and oversight of the Faculty Practice operations including Staffing, Billing, Collections, and management of real estate holdings. Recruitment of physicians and programmatic development. Integration with and transition to the NYU Faculty Group Practice. Managed all aspects of faculty practice through period of tremendous growth, significantly increased number of employed physicians, acquiring multiple medical practices and opening new office locations.

Recruited to spearhead the reorganization of the Quality and Regulatory Department programs in response to Joint Commission survey recommendations. Responsible for oversight of the clinical staff and programs. Significant focus on Regulatory Affairs and Risk Management. Direct oversight and responsibility for Joint Commission accreditation. Clinical oversight of the management of medical malpractice claims.

Restructured and improved quality program to meet compliance with all regulatory agencies, including JCAHO, Department of Health, IPRO, OASAS and Office of Mental Health.
