Served as liaison between central administration, Schools and administrative units to promote effective, efficient capital programs, develop and assure compliance with university policies, and capture and analyze financial and other pertinent data related to the University’s capital program. - Met quarterly with Schools/units to review status of capital projects, compliance, alignment of spending forecasts with approved budgets, and to address capital-related issues. - Organized and presented training to project managers on affirmative action, union contracting and environmental requirements, resulting in higher levels of compliance and project manager satisfaction.- Prepared ad-hoc and year-end project information for annual reports. Tracked project schedules, budget estimates vs. actuals, and construction activity metrics to insure on time completion and minimize budget overruns. Assisted in developing, implementing and managing sophisticated reporting systems.- Supervised student interns and oversaw work of third-party consultant monitoring and supporting EEO performance (work force and M/WBE contract awards) on large projects.- Demonstrated a high level of quality, performance, collaboration and customer service.
