Lead the effective development and implementation of the strategic plan for the T&L function for Europe and Africa ensuring the active engagement of all employees. Developing and leading logistics optimization projects and manage core 3PL's and external warehouses to fully optimize the logistics network in terms of cost, customer service, carrier footprint and external storage.• Lead all transportation tenders in conjunction with the procurement teams, for the modes of Road and Bulk. • Manage the successful redesign and implementation of the distribution network for US to EMEA for Multimodal.• Manage an end to end review of the EMEA operations for inbound transportation management and completed a successful redesign featuring regional planning and control tower structure and also forwarder implant support at our sites.• Global lead for an Air Freight reduction initiative within the company, this includes introducing an internal approval process, breakeven triggers Ocean V’s Air, and global KPI’s and reporting standards. • Serve as SME for the region, for Road and Bulk modes and cold chain transportation management. Here I provide support and problem solving to the operations teams and also lead process improvement initiatives in conjunction with supply chain functions and customers.

End to end management of transport operations for inbound and outbound flows, this involved coordination with internal CRM and Warehouse functions, the management of 3PL’s and liaison with end customers.• Transport management of all volumes to high profile customer countries, Russia (Road), UK (Road) and Japan (Ocean & Air) in adherence to company GDP.• Successfully managed new 3PL on boarding for US imports and Russia exports with zero customer complaints.• Transport network optimization for Ireland, inbound unbundling and back loading, modal transition Road to Sea.• Project support for Road to Rail project for the Ballina operations for container volumes. This has removed circa 10,000 trucks off the road, a CO2 saving of 1500mt PA and a 200% increase in usage over 5 years.
