Work on a team to deploy in AWS cloud:- Serverless API for Soil data (SSURGO and other datasets)- Ingestion pipelines for gridded GIS data (satellite data, elevation data, weather data, hydrology data)Work on team to develop tools for users:- Python libraries for GIS applications- Front end application using Open Data Cube to retrieve gridded GIS data.

• Lead the development and maintenance of:o The Streamflow Prediction Tool web application for displaying streamflow forecasts and hydrologic warning flags using Tethys Platform as well as the global streamflow forecast framework based on a global land surface model.o RAPIDpy for running historical RAPID (rapid-hub.org) simulations from land surface models.o AutoRoutePy for generating flood inundation maps over large regions. Updated AutoRoute (C++) to be OS independent, use GDAL, and to be object oriented.o gsshapy for connecting global weather and land surface model output to the GSSHA model. Updated the GSSHA (www.gsshawiki.com) C++ source code to be OS independent and added a testing framework.• Teach training courses on:o Developing web applications in Tethys Platform.o Using RAPIDpy to set up and run RAPID models to generate streamflow.o Using AutoRoute with AutoRoutePy to generate flood inundation maps.• Collaborate with researchers at the National Water Center, NASA, universities, Scripps Institution, the Met Office, and ECMWF (ecmwf.int).• Set up and maintain internal web servers to host the Streamflow Prediction Tool web interface (Tethys Platform, CKAN, GeoServer).• Use the HPC to run various simulations including RAPID historical computations, Streamflow Prediction Tool forecasts, and GSSHA simulations.

• Created Python script to automate routing ECMWF global runoff forecasts data through RAPID using HTCondor in the AWS. Created a web app using Tethys Platform to visualize data from a high density stream forecast in the NetCDF format using a web based interface.• Produced an app in Django and CKAN using Python and JavaScript (jQuery, Ajax, and Google Maps API) which downloads data from FetchClimate, analyzes the data, and outputs the data as a chart.

Assist students with labs and homework for the hydrology class.

• Create and manage the main website for the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department including PHP and MySQL form production and utilizing the Drupal website interface. • Collaborate with professors and office secretaries to update 6 websites to their specifications.

• Taught physical science to multiple sections of up to 40 students and reviews with over 100 students• Created demo order website using both PHP and MySQL for over 15 professors • Recorded and edited films with Final Cut Pro of demo use instructions for wiki

• Improved, repaired, organized and delivered demos for use of physics professors.

• Created Python scripts in ArcMap to analyze depth grids in order to determine the effect of changing culverts in a basin.• Used ArcGIS and EPA SWMM to input storm sewer information from plan and profile drawings.• Used Visual Basic (Excel) to extract information from word documents and format it in order to insert it into a database. Then, uploaded the database into ArcGIS online.
