Decking Detailer
CurrentMaintaining, & developing Tekla Structures, and liaising with Tekla support to resolve any issues with the software. Training of personnel in the use of Tekla Structures and the custom components as an effective drawing tool. Preparing accurate GA decking drawings of plans & sections based on the specification, for Client’s comments / approval. Reviewing technical content of each project for construction, composite and fire conditions, to enable a thorough design check to be made. Issuing a schedule of materials for manufacture, ensuring that costs are adhered to and raising variation orders as necessary. Liaising with the Construction department, Client, & Engineers as required, with regards to practicality and safety of any detailed proposals.
