- Principal Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and contract subject matter expert (SME) for the FAA Academy AMA-400 Technical Operations Training Division. - Develop, initiate, and maintain contract management processes and standard operating procedures.- Leads large and complex projects directly related to contract and program success with a large level of autonomy.- Regularly meets, coordinates, and briefs Senior Management, Contract Program Mangers, Contracting Officers and Financial Analysts on contract activity ensure contract performance is achieving the intended need and is in compliance with applicable financial and acquisition regulations. - As necessary engages the expertise of General Counsel.- Establishes guides and training to team members to share knowledge regarding acquisition policy guidance and procedures. - Applies FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy and Guidance as well as appropriations law to ensure compliance with Federal Regulations.- Develops and presents Acquisition Strategy Reviews (ASR) and Strategy Execution Reviews (SER) briefings to Senior Management.- Drafts Statements of Work, Single Source Justification, Markets Surveys, Procurement Planning Templates, Request for Information, Independent Government Cost Estimates, Technical Evaluation Plans, Contract Data Requirement List(s), Quality Assurance Plans, and other relevant supporting documentation for complete Procurement Packages.- Develops and maintains automated tools that ensure projected timelines, milestones, and metrics are met to ensure project success.- Develops and produces project progress and funds reports on a routine and adhoc basis.- Recommends solutions to existing or anticipated issues that impact the organization or agency as a whole.- Coordinate the issuance and return of Government Furnished Property to contract personnel.- Provide sister organizations with contract support through use of existing contract vehicles.

As a Student (Clerk) and Student Trainee many of the tasks I have been assigned are the same as those that would be assigned to an HR Assistant.
