After receiving a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Arkansas, I wanted to pursue a career in which I could apply my knowledge of science and my desire to help others. I was blessed to receive my BS in Nursing from a little known, but highly accomplished program at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. After graduation, I began my nursing career in the emergency department at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR. I have been granted the responsibility of being a charge nurse in a facility that sees approximately 55,000 patients a year and is the only designated Level II trauma facility in Northwest Arkansas. After graduating from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences with a Master's in Nursing Science (2014) I have transitioned into an Advanced Practice role in the Emergency Department.
