- Focused on the development of innovative service and software products to improve the installed base performance and create additional revenue sources for the company. As the Technical Owner for a product, primarily focused on the CIP upgrade to the system operating software.- Engages with Hardware and Software Engineering groups to create and test new feature applications for existing and future products with responsibility for ensuring successful integration.- Leads a cross functional team to conduct and design well defined experiments and tests pertaining to the development of new methods, processes, standards, software and the resolution of complex technical problems

- One of two product specialists in the Gas Technology Group. Leads team to address field issues on gas delivery systems, analyze research data and product specifications. Acquires and applies engineering theories, methods and research techniques in the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues.- Manages investigations into safety related issues and works with external laboratories to create failure analysis reports. Presents findings and recommendations to senior management.- Contributes to the design, analysis, prototype build, software or process development, evaluation, and complete bottom up product documentation for pre-production release. Manages the procurement and purchase of hardware required for new product development and testing. - Responsible for creating Safety Alerts, Service Bulletins and Technical Memos related to gas delivery hardware. Sits on the Documents Standards Committee to review/approve the release of technical documents from other groups at Fremont.

- Maintenance/support: Acts as an intermediary between customer and factory. Ensures the implementation of Best Known Method’s, Safety Notices and retrofits; communicates performance/reliability issues.- Provides Alpha Site Support to Engineering. Specifically related to installation, operation, calibration, service and/or testing of new a hardware, software and process design.- Field Escalation Focal Point: Provides a contact point for account teams and/or customers to call upon.- Resolves customer complaints and issues utilizing appropriate internal and external resources. Acts as a crisis manager when necessary.- Creates technical publications and reviews documents covering technical improvements.
