I am the site leader of the Winnipeg Regional Delivery Center (RDC). The RDC in Winnipeg addresses address the needs of local clients, clients across Canada, and clients across North America. My responsibility is to work with account executives, sales executives, delivery managers, and other site leaders to provide individuals, teams, and services to meet the needs of their clients while at the same time growing our business, our revenue, and the RDC.Over the past three years I have brought the RDC from start up to a fully operational. As part of the start-up I developed a rate card model, staffing plans, sales pipelines, salary guidance, and the development of a labor pyramid. Key responsibilities included site redevelopment, communication regarding the RDC to the sales, bid response, account, and delivery teams along strategies for making use of the RDC. The RDC is measured against a strict set of metrics. I am directly responsible and accountable for providing monthly Key Performance Indicator data to a centralized team. I must provide accurate budget information, performance and deliverable metrics, staffing metrics, utilization metrics, labor pyramid statistics, along with hiring information and retention information.My responsibilities include:• Hiring and supervisory management • Facilities/site management and planning• Performance and compensation management (includes goal setting and performance evaluations)• RDC growth – as defined by increased revenue, increased margins. • Support growth opportunities- may range from one person to bid responses with a contract value in excess of $200 million.• Staff assignment. • Canadian Center of Expertise Lead for .NET. I was responsible for the delivery of .NET services and applications development with HP Canada Co as the capability lead for the Canadian Software engineering .NET COE (Center of Expertise). Teams of highly skilled and motivated .NET resources are generally deployed in teams working remotely from Winnipeg and may contain people roles from Architect ranging all the way down to junior developers. My responsibilities included hiring and supervisory management including performance and compensation management. I was also responsible for the growth of the .NET COE in regards to staffing and revenue. Growth includes RFP response development, staffing plan development, recruitment and such. Growth opportunities may range from one person to bid responses with a contract value in excess of $200 million. The efficient deployment of project teams, and the careful matching of skillsets and availability is key to revenue growth and profit growth. I was accountable for deploying the individuals and teams in a manner that maximizes revenue and profit while at the same time meeting sales and margin goals of our sales team and our account leadership teams.My responsibilities also included ensuring that the .NET COE maintains the appropriate level of certifications, and training. That we participate and develop white papers and case studies. That we follow and adopt best practice processes and tools. Participation in leading edge development projects, tool evaluation, and the development of proof of concept level solutions are core to the success of the team.

Responsible for the recruiting and development of IT resources across Manitoba. I develop and maintain relationships with vendors, provide client relationship management and front line support, support the invoicing process and I am directly responsible for maintaining and exceeding margin and revenue targets. Other areas of interest or expertise include: large application implementations, quality assurance, process re-engineering, and developing strong working relationships with clients, client communities and vendors. Current professional interests are in the areas of server virtualization, portal technologies, and open source initiatives.
