Having practiced in New York at the outset of my career, I am now based in Winston's Charlotte, NC office. I have represented national and international clients in civil and criminal matters across numerous industries (financial services, media, consumer products, professional services, medical devices, and manufacturing) and subject matters (consumer protection, securities, labor/employment, fraud, contracts, and tax). As the regulatory environments facing financial institutions and international businesses in other industries have evolved and increased in complexity, I have also spent substantial time counseling clients on sensitive regulatory issues, business process enhancements, and risk management best practices. I provide actionable and practical legal guidance and have a heightened sensitivity to operational needs and goals informed in part by my experience as a seconded in-house counsel for a major financial institution.
