The Marine Battleherk Project is an initiative to educate future generations about the history of the U.S. Marine Corps KC-130 squadrons and all Marine transport units since 1928. I have personally spent 4 years researching and preserving history of these units and the community of veterans who once worked on these titans of military transportation. This includes historical data, war diaries, command chronologies, photographs, video, and audio accounts of veterans who served in various time periods. The Marine Battleherk Project and my work can be seen at www.marinebattleherk.comThis project helped create a 1 hour documentary called "Marine Battleherks: A Legacy", soon to be released on DVD. This film is the first of its kind and has brought back powerful positive memories of veterans all across the world and portrayed in a way that family members, friends, and aviation enthusiasts can enjoy. It also recently received official approval from the U.S. Marine Corps Motion Picture and Television Liaison Office.Through the historical contributions made from my research, I have received two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.
