On secondment from PPMO - Alan was solely responsible for implementing a Project Management Function into the IT Services team in the International Group, as part of the overall change management process, Alan created impemented and managed a Risk Management Processes, a configuration Management plan and database, reporting processes, Stakeholder Management plans, adherence to both Government and recognised Industry Standards, to improve the communications and delivery of all projects within the scope of the IT Operations Team.

The PPMO in UKBA BD3 is responsible for the support of IT Programmes and Projects and the requirements of Project Managers (PM`s) running projects with a value of over £100 million. As a flexible resource in the PPMO team, I was seconded out to the UKBA Business to help, support and manage PPMO process and controls where deficncies to process existed. I provide and achieve excellent results, utilising OGC processes and Best Practice to ensure agreed directions translate into actions. On secondment from PPMO Alan was brought in to implement and Manage a Change Management process for the Home Offices International Group.He created Change processes and plans, worked closely with the FCO services to implement a change process from initiation of a change request to its delivery into live.
