The Road Loading Process Specialist is responsible for the operations of the Irving Oil Whitegate Refinery Liquid and LPG Road Loading Operations. The Road Loading Process Specialist manages the Road Loading team to ensure the customer experience is optimized and applies his knowledge of refinery equipment and processes to make decisions regarding the management of maintenance and operations activities. As a champion for safety, operational, and maintenance excellence, the Road Loading Process Specialist ensures cross-functional teams work together and are accountable for safe, reliable, and economical operations. The Road Loading Process Specialist determines priorities and coordinates activities with maintenance and technical personnel.

The Quality Specialist works to ensure that the sites Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 17025:2017) are implemented and functioning as expected. This is done through the performing Internal Process Quality Audits, generating reports to include findings, root cause analysis, corrective action reports, advising Management of any perceived opportunities for improvement of the various Quality Management Processes. The role supports the Laboratory with the implementation and governance of the Lab’s Quality Management System(s).
