The Oil Movements Process Specialist is responsible for managing the operation of the Marine Oil Terminal and the Refinery Road Loading Facilities, both Liquid and Gas. Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of both terminals by engaging with internal and external stakeholders and progressively addressing business unit risks with operational improvement plans. The Marine Terminal Management incorporates the management of incoming crude oil and outgoing finished products to vessels. Management of the Road Loading Terminal incorporates the management of outgoing finished product from storage facilities to end user truck transport. In these roles the Oil Movements Process Specialist internally collaborates with the Area Team to ensure process, automation and safety systems are managed in line with industry standards and addresses risks that arise as part of a refinery cross functional Area Team. The Oil Movements Process Specialist externally works with industry bodies such as the Port of Cork, Fuels for Ireland, and Marine Vessel Regulatory bodies such as the ITF. The Oil Movements Process Specialist a Port Security Facility Officer and a member of the Cork County Emergency Response Unit for a chemical spillage in the harbor area.
