Currently responsible for US Region Rabobank Wholesale and RaboAgrifinance entity Information Security, Security Risk Management and Security Intelligence for 1700+ user wholesale bank with 8 offices in 3 countries and Rural F&A . Directly responsible for local entity security related audit and regulatory compliance including Dutch National Bank, Federal Reserve and New York State DFS, FINRA, CFTC.Previously directed the North American Retail Corporate Security Division for Rabobank National Association (N.A.) with matrix reporting to the Regional (New York) and Global (Utrecht, The Netherlands) Security Officers of Rabobank WRR. I am responsible for the Cyber, Information, and Physical Security functions, as well as, Identity Access and Business Continuity Management for Rabobank N.A. I am the Board of Director’s appointed Bank Security Officer with authority to design and implement the institution’s Security Program, pursuant to 12 CFR 21. I am responsible for providing vision and leadership in the development and support of security initiatives, overseeing and directing security programs and security efforts across the company, including information technology, personnel, and communications, legal, intellectual, and physical property. Ensuring proper design and implementation of preventative security standards, procedures, and programs. I direct investigation of security breaches and disciplinary actions related to internet and computer crimes, fraud, product tampering, product diversion, and physical safety of employees and visitors. Beginning in June of 2006, while reporting to the Bank’s President/COO, I was tasked to establish a new division within Rabobank N.A. with the mission to assist the Bank’s front and back office business units in strategic evaluation of technology needs required to support future operations. The position was charged with enhancing the Bank’s information security program, policies and processes and integrating such with those of Rabobank worldwide (pursuant to The FFIEC Interagency Guidelines Establishing Information Security Standards, section 501(b) of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)). I was also appointed by the Executive Management Group to chair the Security and Vendor Management Committees and I was appointed by the Board of Directors as the Bank Privacy Officer.
