With over 25 years of experience in the public and nonprofit sectors, I am a passionate and effective leader who strives to make a positive impact on society through urban park transformation, education, and community engagement. As the Executive Director of Friends of the High Line, I oversee the operations, programming, and fundraising of the iconic elevated park that attracts millions of visitors and supports the local economy and culture. I also teach public service at NYU Wagner, where I share my insights and best practices with the next generation of civic leaders. Previously, I served as the President and CEO of Educational Alliance, a leading social service and arts organization that provides opportunities and resources for diverse and low-income communities in Lower Manhattan. I have extensive skills and experience in fundraising, nonprofit management, volunteer management, strategic planning, and partnership development. I am committed to advancing the mission and vision of Friends of the High Line, which is to reimagine public spaces, inspire civic life, and foster social and environmental justice.
