Responsible for the engineering operations of NDT manufacturing company, including product calibration, ISO9001:2018 and ISO 17025 maintenance, RMA's, updating processes and laboratory equipment.Responsible for the re-calibration of all production equipment in accordance with ISO requirements; developed engineering staff in line with ISO 17025 requirements and developed product drawing database.

I coordinated the daily flow of the workplace and optimize all day-to-day activities utilizing key KPI's, analyzing business operations and identifying customer needs in order to bring the two closer together. I lead continuous improvement activities aimed at improving overall manufacturing efficiency and report daily to the COO regarding progress.I worked directly with customer service department to focus on meeting customer order delivery goals and with materials department to address and resolve potential material supply issues.

I was responsible for all shipping, receiving and warehouse operations, including accurate stock levels, material cycle counts, change implementation, lean manufacturing activities & 5S.I was responsible for coordination of transfer of warehouse operations to new facility in Point Richmond CA over a 6 month period, providing on-going operational support for both facilities, including developing warehouse systems and procedures.

In my role as Management Trainer I planned and delivered Management Training programs for Intermediate and Advanced Management Apprenticeships. I visited learners in the workplace and responsible for assessing / tutoring them in their qualifications, coaching and training them in Management theories and practice and support and teaching Functional skills to level 2 in English, Maths and ICT.Evaluated various organizational and management issues and prepared training and development options to develop individual and team skills; I then developed and presented identified management workshops on a variety of subjects such as personal development, time management, team building etc..

We achieved highest sustained success rate nationally in the execution of arrest warrants at 75%, whilst maintaining an exemplary level of quality and safety resulting in key working relationship with the Lord Chancellor’s Department;Successfully designed and implemented a bespoke IT system to enable continuous monitoring of arrest warrant progress, ensuring an accurate chain of custody.

During my tenure here, I was accountable for managing policy deployment in the areas of manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, customer satisfaction, employee relations, and plant performance measures throughout the entire tobacco company with an annual turnover of $30million, this entailed reorganizing and automating the manufacturing department; planning, documenting, and refining manufacturing processes to achieve high quality products; managing and developing manufacturing relationships; facilitating liaison with management to establish manufacturing requirements and demands; coordinating functions within the materials department, including purchasing and inventory control.Key Achievements- Oversaw implementation of complete MRP system, resulting in increased operational efficiency and a reduction in manufacturing costs;- Instrumental in the increase of productivity, product quality and customer service.
