I began in this company as transition year student on work experience which was then offered a part time position working holidays and weekends. As my experience grew i gained more responsibilities leading jobs and training in new employee. My main areas of work involved:• Site preparation: Setting levels, setting out gridlines, site clean-up,• Foundation works: Digging, tying rebar, prepping steps pouring level foundations.• Ground works: Laying ESB ducting, sewer lines and wastewater lines.• Structural works: Mass concrete walls, erecting steel sheds, preparing and pouring in situ columns and beams, retaining walls.• Finishing works: Pouring concrete yards, erecting handrailing, site clean-up and landscaping • Communication: Working in small team, regularly updating supervisors of progress, working and communicating with machine operators and fellow employees to complete works quickly and safely.
