With over 28 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and operations, I am a passionate and driven leader who strives to deliver high-quality products and services to customers and stakeholders. I have extensive expertise in gasoline and diesel fuel injectors and pumps, and I have successfully applied Kaizen and Lean principles to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. I am currently the Director of Manufacturing for Gasoline High Pressure Fuel Pumps at Robert Bosch LLC, a global leader in mobility solutions, industrial technology, consumer goods, and energy and building technology.In my current role, I oversee the manufacturing operations and engineering activities for the gasoline high pressure fuel pump product line, which serves major automotive OEMs in North America and Europe. I manage a team of over 200 employees, including engineers, technicians, operators, and supervisors, and I ensure that the production meets the quality, safety, and environmental standards and regulations. I also collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, R&D, and logistics, to coordinate product development, launch, and delivery. Some of my achievements include leading the implementation of FMEA to identify and mitigate potential risks, facilitating the transfer of technology and best practices from the German headquarters, and securing a large contract with a new customer. I also speak fluent German, which enables me to communicate effectively with my international colleagues and partners.
