As a test manager I was responsible for the building of a new test team for functional and non-functional testing of the product; line-managing a team of nine test engineers consisting of four full-time employees and five vendor employees all based in India; managing the delivery of all test-related artefacts and activities from all members of the test team for both functional and non-functional testing; managing the development of a test automation framework for functional regression testing of UI and API interfaces.Managing the adoption of Agile Scrum methodology within the test team and working with the peer development manager to support the adoption within the development team was a significant part of this role, including fulfilling the role of Scrum Master within the team for a period during the transformation to Agile.As part of continuous improvement within the program, exploratory testing using SBTM was adtoped successfully and subsequently promoted and adopted across multiple teams.
