Alan is an experienced coach and facilitator with over 20 years of Board level experience in the NHS.He specialises in providing senior support to organisations and individuals to help them deliver against key challenges and targets.He was previously Accountable Officer for 3 CCGs in East Berkshire, responsible for a budget of over £450M and a population of over 450,000.He led these 3 organisations from establishment to successful delivery including a significant redesign of the provider landscape that required wide-ranging partnership work and leadership skills.Alan’s specialism is helping organisations and individuals achieve their full potential. He has significant experience of helping organisations navigate complex change. He is skilled at helping systems work together to find innovative solutions. He has worked with clinical and management professionals, board members and politicians, to deliver change across services and organisations.He is a qualified coach and has worked with a range of senior professionals across health and social care to support their professional development. Recent projects include designing and supporting the delivery of a range of leadership programmes for senior clinician; supporting CCG Chairs to work in a new collaborative environment; working with CCG Governing Bodies to support partnership working and improved patient and public engagement.He is also a facilitator for the NHS Leadership Academy Nye Bevan Programme. Alan is also Chair of Active Oxfordshire, one of 43 Active Partnerships working nationally to contribute to the Government’s outcomes for public investment in physical activity and sport.
