I started out as a joiner in 1993 at emh fabrications which i thoroughly enjoyed. I continued to do this until an opportunity arose within the same firm to train as a welder. I jumped at the chance and continued with it from 1997-2011 until due to unforeseen circumstances, the firm went into receivership. Since leaving the firm i enrolled on courses to better my career. I recently applied for cscs card so if an opportunity arises i can do site work for any company. I began work for IRS in january 2012 untill present as a welding engineer,were the management are happy with all aspects of work i have produced so far and i continue to progress within my roles. I have also just completed a course for B.O.S.I.E.T and mist training as i am eagerly wanting to try a new career doing off shore work, plus i also trained in the additional basic safety training for norwegian sector.
