Member of the Information Technology Group, a team of 30+ analysts and technicians responsible for the deployment and maintenance of new hardware and software throughout the company’s five locations. Responsibilities included: ● Deploying and maintaining user workstations for 500-node network including providing connectivity for training at client sites.● Spearheading team created to increase effectiveness of analysts within the Information Technology Group by improving communications among teams of developers.● Creating and providing technical support for all Microsoft Access and Office-based applications. ● Providing process improvements, applications to improve business processes.● Evaluating hardware and software products. ● Account administration for all users including the creation of Windows NT, Microsoft Exchange, and SQL Server profiles.

Held primary responsibility for development and administration of SQL Server databases running under Windows NT on Digital ALPHA/NT platforms. Development projects included:● Conversion of operational systems from VMS VAX-based flat-file data stores to SQL Server-based system. This required the design and implementation of a new Enterprise-wide database structure for use in the Windows NT environment. Reengineering of conversion process resulted in dramatic performance increase. Twelve-hour processing timeline was reduced to 20 minutes. ● Development of Microsoft Access database for the Marketing group to manage the status of marketing projects. ● Development of the Licensee Referral System, a Cognos PowerHouse application integrated with the CCL Registrations system that allows the Client Services group to track participants that have been referred to licensee programs.● Primary technical support for the Client Information System, a Cognos PowerHouse application. ● Provided support for Registrations and TimeLine Financials.● Responsible for the electronic filing of the Center’s Form 1099s.

Responsibilities included support and development of various Cognos PowerHouse applications running on a VAX cluster, Microsoft Office development tying into MS SQL Server databases for individual, group and enterprise-wide applications, and varied, broad-ranging individual support within the organization.
