Having travelled to many hidden-away destinations all my life, this came as an exciting and logical step, allowing me to sharpen my expertise and knowledge of international travel while building itineraries and off-the-beaten-track exploration trips for discerning travellers and holidaymakers. I specialised in all the regions to be struck first with Covid19 (Yay. Go me!) and obviously, the travel industry then plunged into immediate decline, which brings me to this moment of new opportunity. I am excited to hunt out what is next.

Perhaps my favourite job of all, creating events that generated crowds and drew hugely increased footfall. I was involved in marketing and promoting everything from Camera and Film-Making clubs, Easter celebrations, Mother's Day packages, Back To School weeks to high-end concierge-style indulgence days. It involved creating, from scratch events, then seeing them through from idea to completion, including marketing and drawing the eyes of new customers. A great job, fully recommend it.

Crimson Communications published four periodicals, Advance Production News UK, Europe and US and Radio Essentials. Each listed every single programme in preproduction and development, week by week in every country and was bought by the film, TV. marketing, PR, business, music and celebrity industries. The company ran for nearly 20 years before being passed into different hands so that I could explore more of the world and follow a change of direction.

Tightening and sharpening scripts, hunting out new sitcoms, fleshing out gaps in shows, working with directors on location and in studio to get the most out of every minute of airtime. I worked on Absolutely Fabulous, Vic and Bob, Keeping Up Appearances, Birds of a Feather and loads more.
