My core role is to line manage the Hearing Aid Audiologists and Hearing Care Assistants in North England & Wales, Scotland and NI. I have managed up to 25 Hearing Care professionals, making sure all staff understand and adhere to our clinical framework and offer an exceptional customer experience. I work within the Trading arm of Age UK, the charity for people in later life. I am part of a very small team that manages relationships turning over £40m pa. My role is to account manage all existing healthcare relationships across multiple trading channels and support the integration and development of AgeUK Hearing Aids into the Age UK commercial portfolio. I have been an integral part of the successful launch and continual growth of Age UK Hearing Aids, through a close working relationship with UK Hearing Care. Product and Relationship Management:• To educate, train and mentor AgeUK staff on all Age UK Hearing Aid related topics• Proactively maintain a consistently high level of service delivery • To provide education and advice to promote AUK and partners through presentations • Provide advice and guidance on hearing and service related topic• Seek new, build upon and maintain business partnerships• To work in AUK reviewing aspects of process, service, care, training, advice, products and compliance• Act as central point of communication• Review products & services provided are in accordance with departmental and HCPC, BSHAA and BHTA principles, policies and standards• Ensure healthcare partners operate within agreed standards and carry a full operational plan• Resolve any customer and trade complaints/issues effectivelyReview:• Monitor the performance of partners, review in agreed MI reporting structures • Information is clear, appropriate, fair, compliant and not misleading• Appropriate and timely monitoring of competitors • Review all products are compliant to legal, clinical and professional requirements• Review and report on all internal audit outcomesMarketing:• Work with the marketing departments• Assisting with the development of all printed and online marketing material and content updates• Work with PR on any marketing opportunities• Assist in the cross pollination and cross sell opportunities Support the team
