*To monitor production progress against production schedule from time to time and to analyse the schedule when necessary, based on customers’ requirements.*To liaise with related departments such as Store and Quality on a regular basis to ensure the continuation of product flow. *To provide solutions to improve production efficiency, equipment performance and product quality.*To maintain work discipline and monitor employee welfare on the production floor.*To be responsible for manpower planning and monitoring of jobs to justify overtime requirements.*To ensure that production floor Quality, Process and Safety procedures are met.*To prepare weekly / monthly production progress reports and suggest countermeasures for any production error due to issues related to quality, manpower and materials.*Responsible to minimize manufacturing waste*Co-ordinate to ensure preventive maintenance of machines, tools and jigs*Implement SMED (Single Minute Exchange Die) to minimize the machine change over time*Using approved fixtures, jigs and set-up test stations*Responsible to minimize process variation*Manage utilization of production resources (maximize yield)*Ensuring smooth flow and delivery of parts to meet customer’s requirement*To ensure Production personnel proper handling of products and materials*To ensure equipment is calibrated for those ensuring the product quality*Develop PULL production system by using Kanban concept (Lean Production System)

Taking care Production Control department and liaise with customer on the monthly demand. Oversee all the internal department planning & getting customer forecast demand in order to fulfil the delivery requirement.Monthly validation on the physical stock of material vs system. Conduct yearly inventory & liaise with external auditor during yearly inventory.
