• Assisted an alumnus from my high school to program a new productivity IOS app & website startup. Gained hands-on experience in the software engineering industry with a senior software engineering mentor.• Learned front-end coding languages (Javascript and HTML) and how to work in React (an open-source front-end JavaScript library).• Learned how to use the terminal on a Mac and various git commands. • Programmed a function to fix a bug in the date-setting feature of the project. Created test case functions to ensure the validity of my program.• Utilized the collaborative and problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial mindset required for development.

• Taught children how to program in the coding languages Scratch and Python. • Simplified complex concepts to be understandable to younger learners and fostered their passion for computer science through hands-on learning.• Formulated lesson plans to teach each class.
