I am a soon-to-be graduate from the University of North Texas, earning a BS in Cybersecurity with a minor in Spanish, expected in December 2024. My academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles, including threat identification, cryptography, network security, and operating system vulnerabilities. I have hands-on experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, and Java, which I supplemented through high school courses and continue to develop in my university studies.During my time at UNT, I completed an internship with Blackhawk Network, focusing on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). This experience has sparked my interest in cloud and platform engineering, and I am actively pursuing AWS Certified Practitioner certification to further specialize in this area.Beyond academics and professional interests, I am an active member of the Society of Women Engineers at UNT, and I enjoy competing in sailing regattas, rock climbing, and singing. My time working at Embassy Suites has also strengthened my communication and critical thinking skills, enabling me to effectively engage with diverse audiences.I am excited to continue my journey into the world of cloud and platform engineering and look forward to contributing my skills and passion to the field.
