As an alternative dispute resolution professional, I am passionate about helping individuals and organizations not only navigate conflict but also benefit from it. Conflict has a reputation as something to avoid, but in many ways conflict is an inevitable part of human interactions. When managed effectively, conflict has many benefits such as innovation and strengthened relationships.I have been a yoga teacher for a decade, and my approach to conflict resolution is heavily influenced by practicing mindfulness as a way to encourage communication and create a constructive environment for parties to express their perspectives. I believe that through open dialogue and collaboration, conflicts can be transformed into opportunities for growth and positive change.In addition to mediation services, I also offer conflict coaching services, empowering individuals to develop their conflict resolution skills and navigate future disputes with confidence. I believe that by equipping individuals with the tools to manage conflicts effectively, we can foster healthy relationships and productive work environments. Furthermore, I have experience in policy and procedure analysis and drafting, helping organizations establish clear guidelines and frameworks for conflict resolution. Crafting comprehensive agreements and policies that promote collaboration and address potential conflicts proactively is a key aspect of my work.Outside of the office, I am an active equestrian and am also involved in a different form of horsepower: classic car restoration and solo racing. I have forged stronger relationships with my clients through being able to take a break from talking shop every once in awhile and talk horsepower.
