As the Co-Director of Lighthouse Relief, I lead a team of passionate and dedicated professionals who work to protect and empower refugees and vulnerable populations in Greece. With over 10 years of experience in the human rights and refugee protection field, I have developed expertise in communications, fundraising strategies, and board engagement, as well as a strong network of partners and donors across the public, private, and non-profit sectors.My mission is to advance the organization's vision of creating a more humane and dignified world for refugees and displaced people, by ensuring the sustainability and impact of our programs, raising awareness and advocacy on the issues we address, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within our team and with our stakeholders. I am also a former freelance journalist and UN Correspondent, with a background in reporting on peace and security and international development through the lens of gender equality. I hold a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and an M.A. in International Affairs from Sciences Po Paris. I am a dual citizen of the US and Greece.
