Hello! I’m Alana, a nonbinary artist currently based in Minnesota. Most of my work is inspired by the natural world as well as the macabre. I enjoy creating my own characters and worlds. Within my process I use traditional mediums as well as digital to make interesting illustrations and designs that are emotional and compelling through the use of symbolism and color. I received my BFA in illustration from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) in 2021.Currently I am a pre-press designer that works to prepare and optimize artwork for print production. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring that designs are flawlessly executed, I specialize in the technical aspects of the printing process.My experience includes working with print-ready files, color correction, and managing print workflows. I am skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Preflight software, Artpro, and the Esko RIP systems.
