As the Peer Mentor Program Coordinator for MSU's Office of Student Success and Retention, I support the first-year experience of new Morganites by providing them with opportunities to engage in peer-to-peer mentorship from the time they attend New Student Orientation in the summer, to the completion of their Orientation Course in the fall or spring semester.

Under the direction of a mentor teacher I virtually co-teach and lead instruction in a grade 8 English Language Arts classroom. I have constructed unit plans, lesson plans, and learning materials in alignment with Maryland state standards and college and career-ready standards for English Language Arts instruction. Other responsibilities include filming instructional videos, attending faculty and staff meetings, grading assignments, messaging parents and students, and working alongside special educators.

Responsible for upholding Towson University’s Housing and Residence Life core standards and policies while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of on-campus residents.
