Nirvana Energy, founded by Stanford professors in collaboration with NASA engineers, has developed a Stirling engine-based technology that leverages acoustics to deliver heating, cooling, hot water, and electricity generation. Part of a two member team that built and grew the Asset-Backed Lending focused MVP Fund of Funds from a fund with six positions and no service providers to a legitimate fund with 35 position. The goal of the fund was to produce consistent, positive net monthly returns, irrespective of market conditions. Upon my departure, the fund was ranked in the top 10 out of 1,185 Fund of Funds by Sortino ratio and had a Sharpe ratio of 3.89 (top 1.5%). I negotiated service provider and administrator agreements, as well as engaged in fund due diligence and identifying potential investors.
