The University of Melbourne GV Regional Training Hub supports the development of regional training pathways for Medicine. Shepparton Art Museum (SAM), is one of Australia's leading regional art museums, with programming designed to be locally relevant and engage with global contemporary ideas. SAM is recognised for its significant Australian ceramics collection, and its nationally significant collection of Indigenous art. As the marketing lead for SAM I looked after all the communications during a time of great transition - moving from a council owned asset to it's own business entity in a state of the art architect designed building. Expertise:- Digital Strategy and execution- Website building and maintenance- Content creation and building a strong social media community- All PR surrounding the gallery, including writing weekly media releases and liaising with National publications to secure coverage- Campaign strategy development and execution for exhibition launches. Looking after a range of marketing and business development activities, I enjoyed the fast paced and varied roles the Automotive Industry entailed. I was responsible for traditional marketing activities such as media executions, point of sale materials, direct to customer pieces, sponsorship management and dealership events, through to the effective use of online sales tools such as Carsales and social media. I built and maintained our own websites as well as our CRM processes, utilising cloud based applications, and was responsible for developing and managing business targets, budgets, forecasts and strategic growth plans, that supported the overall company vision. Working with a wide variety of brands such as Jeep, Subaru, Mercedes-Benz and Isuzu Ute, the challenge was tailoring every aspect of customer interaction, to fit with these established brand expectations. Additionally my role also encompassed business development duties on behalf of the Dealer Principal and the Company Director, which involved creating business reports, data analysis and presentation, auditing, project management and diary wrangling. I expanded my skills by taking on human resources activities such as recruitment, on-boarding, performance management and implementation of continuous training programs. Tertiary educated in business and marketing, I recently completed post graduate studies in project management with RMIT, and received a Chancellor's Commendation for my results. Over the last few years I been privileged to be involved in a number of charitable activities within the Goulburn Valley, including The Greater Shepparton Connected Community and the #voice4kidz campaign in conjunction with the GV Health Foundation.

Whilst working for this luxury 5 star hotel, I was responsible for sourcing, nurturing and growing our corporate business travel accounts. My targets encompassed event groups, corporate travel accounts, overall room nights booked and room rate achieved. I sourced new business both domestically and internationally, created tailored proposals for their needs and ensured the business followed through on customer expectations. My role also involved growing established accounts and my target industries included consulting companies, construction businesses, and the banking sector. My time at The Westin Melbourne was one I look back on fondly as I worked with a fantastic team that valued performance and development, and we were proud to work for such an iconic property.
