I was the final reviewer and general editor for Elephango, an award-winning, innovative concept in learning, an online resource center for students of all ages. This requires extensive knowledge of traditional and evolving writing styles, a broad, general knowledge of academic subjects and disciplines, and the ability to amicably interact with lesson developers and other team members to continuously correct and improve our products and processes. I've also updated thousands of online product descriptions for Curriculum Express, and proofread nearly every email, web page, white paper, knowledge base page, ad, etc., that leaves the premises.

I taught basic keyboarding and navigation skills, as well as MS Word and whatever else came up, with engaging examples and disarming patter. I am pulling every string possible to join the EDSI / CLLV family full-time.

Motivated nearly 150 unemployed clients (over 305 hours!) by improving their confidence, recommending services, and improving their morale through compassionate, not clinical, attention. My work changed the way resumes are crafted at CLLV, and the clients and staff benefited from the hope and gratitude my work inspired. Grew to provide as much counseling as critiquing. Alan processed telecom invoices and other duties. He found thousands of dollars of excess charges and overlooked savings, besides freeing engineers to design and implement the most efficient circuits and telecom lines. His services were retained for almost an additional two years beyond the initial contract.

In a nutshell, Alan made sure everyone had everything they needed to accomplish their daily and long-range tasks and goals. He recommended and implemented staff, equipment, supplier, and procedural changes to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
