As a Content Manager for Staples Australia and New Zealand, I play a key role in generating persuasive copy and content across all channels, to drive sales and engagement from within Staples’ target customer audiences and enhance the Staples brand.Just some of my key responsibilities include:-Developing and executing a content strategy that supports and enhances Staples’ marketing and sales initiatives.-Developing and enhancing online content across the company’s digital platforms, ensuring content is optimised for search.-Producing creative and engaging content/copy for online/offline marketing channels; including eDMs, direct mail, web, newsletters, whitepapers, social media, blog posts, infographics, advertising and marketing collateral.-Identifying key insights from digital and market data to develop theme/topics and content for multiple business categories, to grow customer acquisition and engagement. -Measuring ROI for communications, including testing alternatives and adjusting approach and messaging based on results-Ensuring that content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality and tone of voice.-Ensuring global content is adapted to be locally relevant in the Australian market.-Working closely with, and briefing, design teams and creative agencies to ensure a consistent message across channels.-Developing standards, systems and best practice for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval and content repurposing.
