We coordinate the overall Crown response to the Royal Commission, working with agencies. We are responsible for: Developing and coordinating the delivery of the cross-government response work programmeResponding to the Royal Commission’s investigations requests, including providing agency records and making Crown witnesses available at public hearingsResponding to the Royal Commission’s recommendations in its interim reports and final report Ensuring individual agency efforts are integrated and tracking to deliver the Crown’s response Acting as the Royal Commission’s main point of contact with the Crown for information and response Whole of government communications on the Crown’s response and work programmeWe are housed within Oranga Tamariki, but in practice we operate independently. We report to a Chief Executive Steering Group, headed by the Secretary of Education, Iona Holsted. Our Minister is the Hon Chris Hipkins, Minister for the Public Service, Hon Chris Hipkins.Close engagement with multiple agencies, communities and stakeholders is required to deliver the work programme and the Crown’s response overall. Oversaw the achievement of two positive Independent Quality Assurance ratings for programme process and service design quality and operating/financial model. Additionally held the pen on Independent Advocacy in the Expert Panel Interim Report (July 2015)

Cloesly involved in the development of the operating model, implementation and oversight/management of Children's Teams in Rotorua, Whangarei and Horowhenua/Otaki, including direct fieldwork in Rotorua and Levin. Working on secondment, stepped in to lead, progress and implement key projects to support implementation. Picked up the Project Manager role for the Children's Hub and Vulnerable Kids Information System. Prior to this took on the Service Design Lead role for Orientation/Training as well as bedding in the Learning Loop Change Process.Preceded these roles with three months field work within Lakes DHB and Rotorua Children's Team providing Health sector leadsership and expertise.
