I am currently looking for new opportunities in the Maritime Provinces but also able to take on projects worldwide as I have done in the past. I have many years experience in the world of brewing but have developed skills that can be transferred to many industries. Finance, Financial Planning, Logistics and Human Resources are just a few of the areas I am conversant with. Reporting to the Director of Operations, acted as the senior financial officer on-site for the two largest plants, overseeing daily, weekly, and monthly financial and managerial reporting. Managed a team of three direct reports, building a strong rapport within the senior management team. Identified problem areas within the current business model, developing metrics to focus on improvement.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, oversaw all financial matters related to the company. Beginning as a start-up, negotiated the Brewery contract with the PALM Breweries of Belgium, securing the deal over major competitors. Managed human resources and operations functions, ensuring consistent contact with the four Breweries supplying product, in addition to the team of sales personnel. Prepared monthly account reconciliations, profit and loss statements, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. Led the annual budget process, developing the long-range financial plan.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, led a national team of four managers responsible for the reporting of divisional results directly impacting on sales bonus achievement for the first time. Led the company for the new cost reduction initiative ZBB (zero based budgeting) through being a package owner, handling all overall reporting of the ZBB results. Ensured that divisional Vice President’s ran with and reporting the new Project Management Process (PMP).

Reporting to the CFO, responsible for creating a new department, designed to improve the margin of InBev USA. Part of a four member team bringing discipline to pricing and effective promotion of our products. Unleashed productivity by training non-financial employees with pricing opportunities existing in each VP’s zone of management.
