Deputy to the Director of Audiovisual and Multimedia Productions providing administrative, technical as well as team managerial support for the director. Current duties include but are not limited to the following:• Recruit, schedule, train and support audiovisual contract staff.• Responsible for cross training Wilson Center audiovisual staff.• Provide audiovisual support for over twelve hundred Wilson Center events annually.• Coordinate and support national and local broadcast networks such as NBC, Fox, CNN and CSPAN, using Verizon’s AVOC bridge to ensuring clear and clean transmission of network coverage of Wilson Center programming.• Shoot multi-camera, broadcast worthy video for both television and web formats.• Create and/or edit still and motion graphic designs for various branding projects including the complete re-design/re-branding of the Wilson Center studio, opening graphics for Wilson Center short-form videos as well as studio backgrounds graphics for network “hits” in the Wilson Center studio.• Senior Director for all Wilson Center media-multi camera productions to include high profile events.• Operate studio equipment including audio and video patch-bays, routing systems, TriCaster Video Switchers, robotic cameras, Shure auto-mixers and microphones. • Edit video and audio content, on an expert level using Adobe’s Creative Cloud programs to include, After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere, Audition, and Dreamweaver. • Update and manage the storage and distribution of Wilson Center content via C.M.S., C.D.N., and XSAND Server (Content Management Systems/Content Delivery Networks).• Operate and troubleshoot video conferencing systems, using Polycom Conferencing Systems.• Provide excellent customer service to a myriad of high profile speakers including Presidents, Congressman, Ambassadors, etc.• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with excellent time management.
