I’m obsessed with computers! This enthusiasm started at an early age, when my parents bought me a Sinclair ZX Spectrum+ for Christmas. From that point on, I was hooked on understanding their inner workings and learning how to program. I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of problem solving, and computers opened up a whole new world for me. That little 48k box of magic sparked a life-long fascination that developed into a career path.These days, my main focus is software, but I’ve always maintained an interest in hardware too. This has helped me design and optimize systems that rely on both components.Today, I develop real-time audit tracking and quality control systems for the security print and e-Passport industries. When not in work mode, I like to develop open source libraries and utilities that others may find useful. I also enjoy video games and from time to time I develop those too!Outside of computers, I love to play golf - another passion that harks back to my childhood. Since moving to the PNW a few years ago, I’ve also discovered that I enjoy hiking - it’s a beautiful part of the world here!
