Network Management Systems Senior Analyst
• Support role as stakeholder on Boeing NIS governance committee. • Performed Transmission Technician work and other perform other types of related telecommunication (LAN/WAN/DESIGN) work for the Boeing Company under contract with Dell Technologies. • Circuit turn-up, configure, redline design, and repair of complex telecommunication circuits, telecommunications and UPS equipment at various locations throughout the Puget Sound and Oregon.• Install/disconnect fiber, copper circuits, and telecommunication equipment in Boeing Data Centers, NCC’s and DCN closets throughout manufacturing plants and buildings.• Install/disconnect copper and fiber cross connects from DEMARC Location, DSX1, DSX3, and FDP panels in the Boeing Data Centers, NCC’s and DCN closets throughout the PNW.• Troubleshoot complex circuit transport issues between buildings using JDSU 6000, SideKick, meter, OTDR, and other types of telecommunications and fiber test equipment. • Replace defective transport telecommunication equipment, which includes Fujitsu 4100 and 4100ES shelf T-1 line, OC3, and OC12 cards, Fiber SPF’s, NEC RC-23D Mux equipment with Low and High Speed T-1 cards, ADC PairGain CO and remote shelves, RAD mux equipment, Adtran CSU’s, various types of routers & switches, Netsure Power Equipment, ADC and Tripplite UPS’s, Cisco Network Equipment which use copper and fiber mediums.• Troubleshoot/repair Netsure power equipment and testing battery banks.• Installed and configured microwave equipment (Air Fiber and Ex-Alt) in NCC’s and DCN closets • Install/disconnect DSX1, DSX3, FDC panels in NCC’s and DCN closet.• Install/disconnect SiteBoss equipment in NCC’s and DCN closets.• Maintaining SLA’s in HP Service Manager and Global Service Engagement Platform (GSEP).• Created/update/manage databases for telecommunication equipment inventory.• Ship out equipment to domestic and internationally localities with the need to understand offloads, ITAR and other Government regulations.
