The zone service manager will direct and manage all facets of MES service reporting directly to the zone vice president with a dotted line to the MES general manager of service. The manager will work closely with the zone vice president and operation managers in implementing, directing and planning all training, service activities, vehicle needs and parts stocking of our service technicians. A special emphasis will be placed on working closely with our service technicians in the field coaching, training and mentoring technicians in the art of service. An MES zone service manager will work with customers, field management, sales reps and adjacent service teams to assure that we provide the ultimate customer experience that maximizes profits. Fit testing, annual flow testing and annual compressor maintenance. Assist customer with warranty repairs on products as well as assist customers with voice amp, thermal imaging and gas detection products being sent in for repair.

Instructs students in courses related to the departmental discipline in accordance with College policy and procedures and in a team-based instructional environment in a classroom, laboratory, and fire ground training setting.Modifies lesson plans; guides group discussions; enhances skill development; grades assignments; documents student performance data into computerized tracking systems; and other duties as assigned.Assignments focus on secondary levels of instruction (multiple requirements for skill training).Maintains office hours to assist students.Maintains professional competence and certifications.Participates in professional development activities and departmental meetings.

Boatswain's mates train, direct, and supervise personnel in ship's maintenance duties in all activities relating to marlinspike, deck, boat seamanship, painting, upkeep of ship's external structure, rigging, deck equipment, and boats. Boatswain's mates take charge of working parties; perform seamanship tasks; act as petty officer-in-charge of picketboats, self-propelled barges, tugs, and other yard and district craft. They serve in, or take charge of damage control parties. BM's also operate and maintain equipment used in loading and unloading cargo, ammunition, fuel, and general stores. BMs take charge of and supervise UNREP (Underway Replenishment) procedures and equipment. They are integral to ship's navigation and serve as ship's Helmsman and the ship's Lee Helmsman. In addition they also serve as RHIB (Rigid-hulled inflatable boat) coxswains.
