The platform also has a preloved collection that enables individuals to resell their quality used items. Icephorm donate one third of their profits from preloved sales to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in support of their Arctic Programme which works towards mitigating the effects of climate change.• As CEO, I led the technical and aesthetic teams through a highly complex development to create a very sophisticated and stable eCommerce platform with integrated ePayments.• The development was done from ground up, enabling Icephorm's marketplace to offer innovative features that give users the ability to own fashion in an environmentally friendly manner.• Icephorm initially focussed on Finnish consumers before diversifying into other Nordic countries and beyond.

Having project managed the sale of Oxtel to Miranda Technologies, Canada, I decided to take a sabbatical in order to fulfil some long-desired ambitions including: tours of Europe and The World, renovating a home and attending one-to-one oil painting tuition.During this period I also co-formed a continuation of the Entrepreneurial Team Network (ETN), a focus group which had been established in 2000 by the renowned Henley Management College (now part of Reading University), to investigate the value of providing a forum for entrepreneurs to meet and develop their thinking. When the two-year project finished, a number of us who had been part of the network continued meeting on a regular basis. Activities included discussing business concepts and giving informal help to those who needed it. Through ETN I was invited to join the monthly board meetings of a country house hotel to help advise, propose solutions and contribute to the decision making process.
