LifePod enables seniors to use their voice to live more comfortably and safely in their home by providing essential social and wellness engagement services such as streaming media, medication reminders, check-ins, access to transport, control of smart-home appliances, and fall detection. LifePod offers caregivers of these elders a powerful new way - using a mobile portal and AI-based on data from local IOT sensors - to monitor senior safety, activities of daily living, keep in touch with, and support their elderly loved ones without having to be there in person. LifePod will notify doctors, caregivers and family members if and when emergencies happen and provide daily reports summarizing an elder’s activities periodically as needed.

Led data analytics development team for Philips' production launch of CareSage, a predictive analytics service to produce actionable insights for proactive care of an aging population. Developed and leveraged mobile (3G/4G) and IoT-based solutions and connectivity for next-gen senior living (AL/IL) safety and remote monitoring services. Represented Philips within LeadingAge CAST - Center for Aging Services Technologies.

Researched, developed, and deployed proof-of-concept advanced IP, VoIP, and wireless, and mobile services and lead initial product management of several revenue-generating services (Broadband VoIP interconnect services for leading consumer-based VoIP provides such as Vonage, Google Voice, Comcast, etc.). Extensive experience with advanced real-time IP-packet-based global communications over the Internet and IP networks around the world, which is now common in all telecommunications services. in 10 years, iBasis grew from a startup to a $1.3B global telecommunication provider. iBasis was acquired by KPN in December 2009.
