During my time with the Credit Opportunities Fund I was responsible for sourcing and managing a portfolio of bilateral, mid-market corporate loans. This portfolio of circa $80m recorded zero losses and returned a gross IRR of over 13% to investors.

Following the failure of its parent company, I was recruited to stabilise and run the business, subsequently managing the successful sale process.

Set up and ran the sponsor and acquisition finance team at BoSI from a standing start, BoSI being the most active market player in this space by the time of my departure less than 5 years later.

Leeds And Southampton, Uk And Bankwest (Bos Subsidiary), Sydney

Joined Bank of Scotland in their Leeds office as a member of the Structured Finance team. Subsequently opened and led a new Structured Finance office for bank in Southampton UK, supporting regionally-based private equity firms and other corporate M&A opportunities. Seconded to BankWest in Sydney Feb 2001 to Oct 2002 to set up leverage finance presence supporting domestic private equity managers.
