Alan is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the National Curriculum & Training Institute®, Inc. (“NCTI”), a global training, education, curriculum development, program delivery organization based in Phoenix, Arizona. As both an owner and member of the NCTI management team since 1997. Alan is actively involved in all aspects of sales, marketing, client development and customer retention of REAL COLORS® and CROSSROADS® customers while expanding existing NCTI customer relationships in the following market segments; Business, Government, Education, Criminal Justice, and Professional Associations. Alan is also actively engaged in working with the existing NCTI distributors while continuing to establish relationships with government and education agencies, and other 3rd party organizations (i.e.: consultants, private providers) across the United States that are desirous of using NCTI products and materials within their respective organizations or with their clients.

Alan started his career in voice, data, and video communications products/services sales in 1983 as a Major Account Sales Representative for Communication Consultants, Inc., which became Norstan Communications in 1988 (and is now Black Box Network Services). Over the 15 years with the organization, Alan held many different sales, sales management and executive positions. In his last position as Regional Vice President of Sales, Alan was responsible for voice, data, and video communications product sales in the states of Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas. He managed a sales operation in excess of 100 employees with an annual revenue budget of $40,000,000.

Alan was a computer systems and services sales representative selling Control Data Cybernet Services to organizations throughout the north central part of Texas. Working out of the CDC office in Dallas, Alan's four successful years with Control Data Corporation resulted in him achieving numerous regional and national sales achievement awards.

Alan joined EDS in 1977 and completed the EDS SED (Systems Engineering Development) program within six months after joining the company. He was initially based in Madison, Wisconsin as a member of the EDS Federal State of Wisconsin Medicaid implementation team. Upon completion and full implementation of the claims processing center in Madison, Alan was transferred to EDS World HQ in Dallas where he attended and completed SED "school". Working at HQ in Dallas as an SE, Alan was a member of Jim Hedrick's Utilization Review (UR) team, supporting the EDS Blue Cross Blue Shield installations in both upstate New York and Massachusetts.
